Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship

The PalSU Arsenals has been a talk for some quite time, the organization was first introduced last Binturungan Cup, in which gained a lot of positive feedbacks. To increase awareness and interest in Esports as a legitimate and exciting form of competitive entertainment that showcase the skills and talents of athletes to a wider audience by providing community engagement which foster a sense of belongingness among the Esports enthusiasts, players, and fans. Encouraging camaraderie through interaction and hasten among participants through forums, social media, and in-person events. Exploring a long-term sustainability by planning for future editions of the Bintirungan Cup and other events that could foster for the development of our Esports community in our University. The PalSU Arsenals was established last AY 2022-2023, through a collaborative work between the Esports enthusiast and the College of Sciences. It pave way to creating a healthy, compassionate, and empathetic organization that does not only encapsulate the Esports but also, to nourish the knowledge and to break the enigmas or stereotyping’s of the society. This newly established organization was first handled by the former members of PSUEsports, but currently has its officiates to further ream and propagate the scope of the organization and the familiarity of all PALsuans. The support of the every studentsis what allows the PalSU Arsenals (PalSUA) to operate. Their needs and progress are the focus, the main goals, and objectives. The PalSUA recognizes the need of fostering mutual understanding through different approaches and focus such as social, civic involvement, intellectual, recreational, scientific, and activities that helps foster the bonds between the student and believes in the development of people's ethical and intellectual competence. Objectives of the organization: 1. The PalSUA shall act towards the betterment of the local community, and offer training and mentorship programs to help aspiring gamers reach their potential. 2. The PalSUA aims to showcase talents by promoting balance within the academic and the gaming community: by conducting workshops and training. 3. The PalSUA shall be an active agent in promoting awareness and consciousness in terms of the ESports community. 4. The PalSUA shall enhance students’ knowledge and experience by initiating student-oriented projects and activities. 5. The PalSUA shall represent the university and its interests to the community through collaborative activities. 6. The PalSUA shall bolster and galvanize the participation of the members in all appropriate activities. 7. The PalSUA shall uphold the physical, intellectual, socio-cultural, and spiritual well-being of its members through sustainable and effective programs that address their academic and non-academic welfare. 8. The PalSUA shall regularly conduct a general student assembly in the second month of every semester to present the plans, programs, reports, and changes in the organization. 9. The PalSUA, as headed by the President, shall create and immobilize committees and team captains needed for the proper discharge of official duties and responsibilities.
