For over twenty years, the Young Biologists Association has served as a nurturing ground for aspiring medical professionals and dedicated researchers in the field of biology. Originating as the Palawan Teacher’s College (PTC). It wasn't until around 1988, during its transition to Palawan State College (PSC), that it introduced the Bachelor of Science in Biology program, amidst a curriculum spanning Arts, Science, and Technology. By November 12, 1994, the institution evolved further into Palawan State University (PSU), Since its inception in 1997, the YBA was established and has consistently forged ahead, achieving ongoing progress and notable accomplishments to this day. Throughout its journey, marked by numerous presidents and notable achievements since 1997, medical training, clinical camp, summer training, and various event, the institution has continually evolved. Notably, the collective dedication of its members, officers, and advisors led to the nomination of the Young Biologist Association as one of the Best College-based Organizations of 2023. With an unwavering commitment to nurturing the talents of young biologists, the organization aspires to be a leading entity for all species, reflecting its motto: "para sa lahat ng species."
