The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is an acknowledged co-curricular environmental club within schools, serving as a central hub for various other environmental clubs. It primarily focuses on implementing programs and projects dedicated to the environment and ecology. It is a student-led environmental initiative promoting sustainability and eco-consciousness in schools. Founded in the Philippines, YES-O engages students in various activities such as tree planting, coastal clean-ups, and seminars on environmental conservation. It aims to instill a sense of responsibility and activism among youth towards protecting the environment for future generations. YES-O chapters operate within schools, encouraging participation from students across different grade levels. Through its programs and projects, YES-O empowers young individuals to become advocates for environmental protection and fosters a culture of environmental stewardship within educational institutions. Be aware and create awareness in others of the state of the Philippine environment and ecology, including prevailing issues and concerns relative there to; Establish specific and doable programs, projects and activities to address issues and concerns on the environment and ecology; Network with other government and non-government organizations, including Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Organizations in other schools within the division and region, with regard to support and assistance to programs, projects and activities of the organization; Encourage community participation and initiative in environmental and ecological movements and actions; and Develop among members and the community proper environmental values, skills and attitudes.
