The Bang-giitang Dauisanon Association Towards Solidarity of Bohol Island State University – Main Campus is a school-based municipal youth organization under the National Youth Commission’s Youth Organization Registration Program. With over 500 registered members, the organization was established to provide a platform for young individuals, aged 15-30, to engage in various advocacies, including education, environment, health, peacebuilding and security, governance, active citizenship, global mobility, social inclusion and equity, and economic empowerment. Objectives of the organization shall be: a. To establish unity among Dauisanon students; b. To promote and help in the attainment of the goals of BISU Main Campus and Bingag Extension; c. To develop and encourage among Dauisanon students to participate on socio-civic activities to become effective and versatile citizen of Dauis; and d. To be able to encourage full participation and cooperation in every school and town activity. As a municipal-level, school-based organization, the Bang-giitang Dauisanon Association Towards Solidarity primarily operates within Bohol Island State University – Main Campus is, specifically targeting students residing in the municipality of Dauis. It aims to create a significant local impact through various programs and activities. The organization strives to be a voice and advocate for the youth, ensuring their active participation and contribution to community development and nation-building.
