Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines (JSWAP) Western Phillipines University, Puerto Princesa City Chapter, is a student-led organization focused on supporting the growth and development of aspiring social workers. This chapter is dedicated to nurturing the skills, values, and professional readiness of social work students in Western Philippines University-Puerto Princesa Campus. The organization plays a vital role in supporting and empowering social work students by fostering a collaborative environment where they can grow both personally and professionally. At its core, JSWAP’s mission is to inspire and empower a new generation of social workers committed to social justice, human rights, and the welfare of all individuals, especially those who are marginalized and vulnerable. Through a wide range of initiatives, JSWAP cultivates proactive, compassionate advocates equipped to address pressing social issues and make a positive impact in diverse communities across the Philippines. The JSWAP WPU PPC Chapter is also dedicated to upholding professional and ethical standards in social work, offering students vital opportunities to develop the skills necessary for their future careers. By connecting students from various universities and colleges, the organization builds a supportive network of individuals passionate about social welfare, community empowerment, and advocacy. This Organization initiate in organizing workshops, seminars, outreach programs, and other events that enrich the educational experience of Bachelor of Science in Social Work students, equipping them to become effective leaders and advocates. Through its commitment to advocacy and practical learning, JSWAP empowers students to champion social welfare, human rights, and community development. Through its diverse initiatives, the organization seeks to prepare students to become proactive agents of positive change, advancing social justice and supporting communities in need across the Philippines.
