El Verde Youth for Climate Action – GMVCC Libmanan Chapter is a youth organization established on April 6, 2024 whose members are students of Governor Mariano E. Villafuerte Community College dedicated to taking action against climate change and protecting our planet. Their main advocacy is to raise environmental awareness and to educate young people, prevent climate crisis, and to protect and preserve our ecosystem and biodiversity. This organization provides or can participate in Environmental initiatives such as clean-up drives and tree planting: Initiate leadership symposiums; and DRRM initiatives such as BLS (Basic Life Support Seminars and workshops and other educational campaigns. By organizing events and initiatives, this organization also strives to create a platform for youth to voice their concerns and contribute climate solutions.
