Batuan-Cadinglian National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (Bat-Cad NHS SSLG) serves as the official student governing body, committed to fostering leadership, inclusivity, and student empowerment. It envisions a united and dynamic student community where learners become responsible leaders, compassionate individuals, and active agents of change. Guided by the principles of excellence, integrity, and collaboration, the SSLG aims to create a progressive and sustainable future for all students. Objectives: • Foster Leadership and Empowerment – Provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills through active participation in decision-making and governance. • Promote Holistic Development – Implement programs that nurture students’ intellectual, emotional, social, and physical well-being. • Uphold Learner Rights and Welfare – Advocate for student safety, well-being, and discipline while upholding their rights. • Encourage Inclusive Participation – Ensure that all students, regardless of background, are engaged in SSLG initiatives. • Strengthen Collaboration – Build partnerships with teachers, parents, and the community to address student needs effectively. • Promote Civic Engagement – Encourage participation in community service, environmental stewardship, and nation-building activities. • Ensure Transparency and Accountability – Uphold good governance by ensuring integrity and accountability in all SSLG activities. • Support Educational Excellence – Enhance the learning environment by addressing student concerns and supporting academic and co-curricular initiatives.
