The CCNHS – SSLG is a school-based organization who is committed to develop the principles of good governance, leadership, accountability, equity and inclusiveness through academic and civic leadership programs and activities. We uphold and adhere to the vision, mission and goals of the Department of Education. We actively respond to the call of service in which our institution, City Central National High School, have dispatched to those passionate to lead and serve. The CCNHS-SSLG shall have the following objectives: 1. uphold the values, principles and ideals of the Department of Education; 2. empower the learners to strive for excellence in the academics, leadership and social responsibility; 3. encourage the learners to be proactive members of the society; 4. lead learners in developing passionate love for the country, values and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to building the nation; 5. represent the learners in the school governing council pertaining to learners’ concerns; 5.1 to actively participate with the school management in developing a learner-friendly, safe, motivating learning environment; 5.2 to actively participate with the school management in nurturing an inclusive, service-oriented, gender sensitive, culturally-aware, and environment conscious community; 5.3 to actively participate with the school management in developing self-confidence, critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, learning among the learners and to provide learners with opportunities to utilize these skills in contributing towards nation-building; 6. serve, protect, and promote the rights and welfare of each learner.
