Social Inclusion and Equity
The Green Valley College Glee Club(GVCGC) is a student group that brings together people who love to sing. The club's main goal is to help students improve their singing skills, work together as a team, and represent Green Valley College in performances and events. Through regular practices and shows, the club encourages students to develop discipline, creativity, and school spirit. Any Green Valley College student who enjoys singing can join the club. New members must pass an audition, but once they are part of the club, they can participate in rehearsals and performances. The club has two types of members: active members, who regularly join practices and shows, and inactive members, who may need a break but still want to stay part of the group. The club is led by a group of officers, including a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, and Music Director. These officers organize events, manage the club's money, and lead rehearsals. The Music Director is in charge of teaching the songs and directing performances. The Glee Club meets regularly to rehearse and discuss upcoming events. Being part of the club allows students to build friendships, showcase their talents, and feel connected to the college community. Whether they are singing in front of an audience or just practicing together, members of the Green Valley College Glee Club get the chance to grow, have fun, and share their love for music.
