The Guild of Engineers who Are Reconnected (GEAR) is a student organization at STI College Lucena dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of computer engineering students. GEAR provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development, empowering its members to excel in the field of computer engineering. Through a variety of activities, events, and initiatives, GEAR aims to create a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and professionally. Objectives: 1. Community Building: GEAR strives to create a sense of belonging and camaraderie among computer engineering students by organizing social events, outings, and recreational activities. These activities provide opportunities for members to connect, build friendships, and form lasting bonds within the GEAR community. 2. Academic Excellence: GEAR is committed to promoting academic excellence among its members through study groups, workshops, and seminars focused on computer engineering topics. By providing resources and support, GEAR aims to help students succeed academically and enhance their understanding of key concepts in the field. 3. Professional Development: GEAR seeks to prepare its members for successful careers in computer engineering by organizing networking events, career fairs, and industry talks. These opportunities enable students to connect with professionals, explore career paths, and gain valuable insights into the industry. 4. Practical Application: GEAR encourages its members to apply their computer engineering knowledge to practical challenges through projects, competitions, and initiatives. By engaging in hands-on activities, students develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork abilities, preparing them for real-world engineering challenges.
