Education, Peace-Building and Security

Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) is a youth-led advocacy group in the Philippines dedicated to combating drug abuse and terrorism through education, awareness, and community engagement. Spearheaded by the Philippine National Police (PNP) in collaboration with various government agencies and local youth organizations, KKDAT empowers young Filipinos to take an active role in promoting peace, security, and a drug-free society. As a movement, KKDAT provides platforms for youth leaders to engage in discussions, projects, and activities that foster resilience against the dangers of illegal drugs and extremist ideologies. The organization conducts awareness campaigns, leadership seminars, community outreach programs, and partnerships with educational institutions to educate young people about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the dangers of radicalization. By instilling values of discipline, responsibility, and patriotism, KKDAT seeks to cultivate a generation of proactive citizens who advocate for positive change in their communities. Objectives of KKDAT: Prevent Drug Abuse Among the Youth – Educate and raise awareness about the dangers of illegal drugs through seminars, workshops, and school-based initiatives. Counter Violent Extremism and Terrorism – Promote peacebuilding activities that discourage youth involvement in extremist ideologies. Empower Young Leaders – Develop leadership skills among the youth, enabling them to become advocates for anti-drug and anti-terrorism campaigns. Promote Community Engagement – Strengthen youth participation in social and civic activities that contribute to a peaceful and progressive society. Support Government Initiatives – Collaborate with law enforcement and local government units in implementing programs that reinforce national security and public safety. Through these objectives, KKDAT envisions a vigilant and responsible youth sector that actively contributes to the nation’s fight against drugs and terrorism, fostering a safer and more prosperous Philippines.
