Youth for Environment in Schools Organization – Armenia Integrated School (YES-O Armenia IS) The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Armenia Integrated School is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices within the school and the community. Established in June 2018, YES-O Armenia IS serves as a platform for students to become proactive environmental stewards, fostering a sense of responsibility for nature through various initiatives and activities. The organization collaborates with the school administration, local government units, and other environmental advocates to implement programs that contribute to a greener and healthier environment. Objectives: 1. To develop leadership and advocacy skills among students through environmental initiatives and programs. 2. To promote and implement sustainable waste management practices, including recycling and proper segregation of waste. 3. To organize tree planting, gardening, and other green initiatives that contribute to environmental conservation. 4. To conduct environmental education campaigns that raise awareness on climate change, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable living. 5. To collaborate with the school and local government in implementing environmental projects that benefit the community. 6. To instill in students the values of environmental stewardship, responsibility, and sustainable living for the betterment of present and future generations.
