The Del Carmen Youth Initiative (DCYI) is a youth-led organization dedicated to fostering active youth participation in community development. Initially established during the pandemic to support community pantry efforts and later local vaccination programs, DCYI has since expanded its advocacy to four key areas: Health, Education, Community Service, and Environmental Conservation. With a firm belief that the youth are not just the future but also the present, DCYI empowers young individuals to take meaningful action in addressing social issues and shaping their communities. At the heart of DCYI's vision is the goal of producing active youth members who will become future leaders. The organization envisions a generation that is engaged, proactive, and ready to take on leadership roles to drive progress. To achieve this, DCYI is committed to honing leadership skills through various training programs and activities. By equipping young individuals with the necessary knowledge and experience, DCYI ensures that they are prepared to take on responsibilities that contribute to the welfare of their community. DCYI also recognizes the importance of passion-driven initiatives in fostering youth responsiveness to pressing societal issues.
