The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Sto. Cristo Integrated School, is guided by DepEd Order No. 72, s.2003. It aims to raise awareness, inspire action, and instill a sense of responsibility for protecting nature. YES-O empowers students through seminars, campaigns, and eco-friendly projects like tree planting, clean-up drives, recycling, and waste segregation. It also promotes energy and water conservation and encourages sustainable habits both in school and at home. Through these efforts, students develop leadership skills and a spirit of volunteerism, preparing them to become responsible stewards of the environment. Objectives: 1. Educate students on environment issues, laws, and sustainable practices. 2. Promote active participation in tree planting, clean-ups, and eco-friendly initiatives. 3. Implement solid waste management by reducing, reusing, and recycling. 4. Encourage resource conversation by minimizing energy and water waste. 5. Strengthen community partnerships for greater environmental impact. 6. Develop leadership ad volunteerism through environmental projects.
