The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is a school-based organization in the Philippines established under the Department of Education (DepEd) to promote environmental awareness, protection, and sustainable practices among students. It serves as a platform for young people to become actively involved in environmental advocacy, fostering a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to preserving natural resources. Through various programs and initiatives, YES-O empowers students to lead and participate in projects that address pressing environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and waste management. The organization’s primary objective is to instill environmental consciousness among students and encourage proactive involvement in sustainability efforts.
