The Baras-Baras High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (BBHS-SSLG) is the highest governing student council of Baras-Baras High School, dedicated to upholding and promoting the DepEd Core Values—Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa. As the voice of the student body, BBHS-SSLG is committed to fostering academic excellence, social responsibility, and holistic development, ensuring that every learner is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become responsible and compassionate members of society. Guided by its mantra, LEAD. SERVE. INSPIRE., the organization serves as a platform for students to develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful community service, and inspire their fellow learners to take an active role in school and civic life. BBHS-SSLG spearheads various projects, programs, and initiatives that promote student empowerment, collaboration, and inclusivity, creating opportunities for learners to participate in decision-making, address concerns, and implement positive change. The council also strengthens partnerships with teachers, administrators, and stakeholders to cultivate a unified and progressive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and morally. Through outreach programs, environmental campaigns, leadership training, and value-based activities, BBHS-SSLG instills a strong sense of discipline, initiative, and integrity, encouraging learners to embody the core values in their daily lives.
