Health, Education, Environment

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the highest student organization in schools, responsible for representing and advocating for students’ rights, welfare, and academic success, while promoting strong moral values. As elected leaders, their authority comes from the student body, which allows them to operate independently and diplomatically. The SSLG follows the Department of Education’s Mission Statement, ensuring that students receive an education that is high-quality, fair, and culturally aware, all within a safe and inclusive environment. They are built on values like good governance, servant-leadership, accountability, and unity, with a commitment to the core values of Maka-Diyos (God-centered), Makatao (humanitarian), Makakalikasan (environmentally responsible), and Makabansa (nationalistic). These values guide their efforts in academics, civic duties, and leadership. The SSLG aims to empower students to succeed academically, grow as leaders, and become socially responsible citizens who actively participate in nation-building. They represent students in the School Governing Council and work alongside school management to create a supportive and learner-friendly environment. Transparency, integrity, and clear communication with student organizations and other stakeholders are essential to their operations. They ensure accountability in decisions affecting students and remain neutral in political or religious matters. The SSLG also follows policies that prevent commercialization, in line with the Department of Education’s rules. Through these principles, they strive to be role models of student governance, promoting a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence within the school. Their work fosters unity and gives students a voice in their education.
