The 4H Club of Mansalay is a local chapter in the municipality of Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, of the Federation of 4H Club (Rural Youth) in the Philippines, Inc. The organization focuses on the attainment of the following goals: 1. To provide youth with the opportunity to learn by doing through individual, group, and community projects, 2. To enhance productivity and self-reliance through gainful projects, 3. To instill in the youth the spirit of volunteerism, 4. To enable the youth to use their time, talents, and energies wisely; and 5. To instill awareness in the preservation of the environment. The 4-H Club of Mansalay acknowledges the paramount importance of the out-of-school youth particularly in the countryside in the development of a deeper economic, social, spiritual, sports, cultural and moral commitment of every individual. It should strengthen and maintain community solidarity based on the existing customs and traditions of our people that are not contrary to law. The 4H Club is an organization of youth who are interested in agricultural projects and livelihood programs for the four-fold development of the Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.
