The name “STEPS Dance Troupe” embodies the unity of students through the performing arts, reflecting the collective passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for dance and performance. The objective of the group is to discover skills and talents and promote nationalism through dances. In order to achieve this end, the group shall endeavor: ? To preserve and promote Philippine folk dances, Modern, Hip-hop, Interpretative, Pop, Cheer Dance, Street Dance, Contemporary and other related forms. ? To preserve their traditional characteristics for the present and future generations, To enrich knowledge, skills and talents for cultural identity, ? To acquire values from the dances for appreciation, and ? To foster and promote goodwill and understanding through dancing, ? To help students develop sound values and ethical standards.
