Bus-Bus Youth Advocate (BBYA) is a youth-led organization founded in 2022 in the Municipality of Jolo. BBYA was established in response to the growing need for a unified and inclusive platform that empowers young people—regardless of socio-political status, economic standing, or tribal affiliation. At its core, BBYA champions the holistic development and well-being of youth by promoting access to education, mental health support, leadership training, civic engagement, and human rights awareness. Through grassroots initiatives, community outreach, policy advocacy, and strategic partnerships, BBYA works to ensure that every young person in Jolo and beyond is given the opportunity to thrive, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and rise above the challenges they face. BBYA envisions a future where youth are empowered, united, and resilient—driven by compassion, integrity, and a shared commitment to social justice and equity. With programs grounded in inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and community service, we are building a generation of empowered youth leaders who will carry the torch of progress.
