The LGU — Midsayap aims to engage and engross youth for the environmental advocacies and promulgations in conserving, preserving and protecting natural resources in the community and throughout nation. The objectives of the Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan Organization (KAPKO) are divided to five areas: First, Education and Awareness: Develop and implement educational programs to raise environmental awareness among the youth, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices and conservation. Second, Community Engagement: Organize and support community-based environmental projects. such as tree planting. waste reduction campaigns, and habitat restoration efforts. Third, Advocacy and Policy Influence: Advocate for stronger environmental policies and practices at local and national levels, engaging young people in the policy-making process. Fourth, Partnerships and Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with schools, organizations, and government agencies to amplify our impact and resources in promoting environmental sustainability. And lastly, Capacity Building: Equip young leaders with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to drive environmental change and ins ire others through training workshops and leadership programs.
