Peace-Building and Security

YFPM Davao de Oro is a Civil Society Organization (CSO) that advocates Peace and Development among the Youth Sector. It is an umbrella of the Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines, Incorporated (YFPDMPI), its national chapter, and Youth for Peace Movement TALBOS (YFPMT), its regional chapter, which focuses its advocacy in Davao de Oro Province. It also implements activities that aim to achieve Peace and Development and youth empowerments in its area of responsibility. The organizations objectives are also to uphold inclusive youth participation to fulfill their vital role in nation building; encourage youth volunteerism to assist the LGU of DDO in all its projects for the youth and other youth sectors; organize and promote solidarity, cooperation and mutual assistance among the members of the organization and other youth sectors; and advocate peace and promote nationalism among the youth sector that is founded with the Core Values of Leadership, Good Citizenship, Patriotism.
