The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the highest student governing body in secondary schools under the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines. It serves as the official organization representing the interests, voices, and welfare of all junior and senior high school learners. The SSLG promotes student empowerment, leadership development, and active participation in school and community programs. Comprised of elected student leaders, the SSLG works in close coordination with school administration, teachers, and other stakeholders to implement student-led initiatives, advocate for learner rights, and foster a culture of service, unity, and responsibility within the school. The objectives of the SSLG are to represent the student body by addressing their concerns and promoting meaningful dialogue with school authorities. It aims to enhance school spirit and student engagement by initiating activities that promote inclusivity, creativity, and unity. The SSLG also advocates for the rights, safety, and overall well-being of learners in both academic and non-academic settings.
