The Central College Student Council (CCSC) is the highest governing student body of St. Dominic College of Asia—an organization founded on the core Dominican values of Service, Dynamism, Competence, and Accountability. As the official representative of the student body, the CCSC serves as a bridge between the administration and the student community, ensuring that student voices are heard and that their welfare is prioritized. The CCSC champions the holistic development of students by fostering leadership, unity, and active participation in both academic and co-curricular affairs. It upholds the principles of freedom, equality, justice, and democracy while cultivating a responsible and empowered student community. In addition to addressing student concerns, the CCSC leads various programs that are social, civic, intellectual, recreational, and scientific in nature, guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Objectives: - Uphold and practice the Dominican values of Service, Dynamism, Competence, and Accountability. - Train student leaders to be effective, efficient, and ethical in their leadership roles. - Promote self-confidence and empowerment among students. - Strengthen unity and collaboration within the student body and among its leaders. - Support and maintain the institution’s mission to provide quality education and foster academic excellence. - Serve as the guardian of students' rights and welfare. - Represent the student body in the institution’s policy-making processes, ensuring that student perspectives are considered. In essence, the CCSC embodies servant leadership, working tirelessly to cultivate a proactive student community that is not only academically competent but also socially responsible and globally aware.
