The Samahan ng mga Tagapagtaguyod ng Filipino (SATAFIL) of Tanglag National High School is a student organization committed to promoting the active use, appreciation, and preservation of the Filipino language and cultural heritage. Rooted in the ideals of nationalism, service, and academic excellence, SATAFIL serves as a platform for students from Grades 7 to 12 to deepen their connection with Filipino identity through meaningful activities and programs. The organization aims to encourage the use of Filipino in various school-related functions, foster a greater appreciation for Philippine literature, and strengthen students’ understanding of local culture and traditions. To achieve these goals, SATAFIL conducts competitions, seminars, and cultural events that celebrate Filipino values, arts, and history. It also seeks to establish partnerships with like-minded groups within and outside the school to broaden its reach and impact. Through its vision, mission, and activities, SATAFIL strives to be a leading force in inspiring students to take pride in their linguistic and cultural heritage.
