Lonsi Active Youth Organization (LAYO) is a newly established youth organization dedicated to empowering young people aged 15-30 years old in Lonsi, Tugasnon, Alubijid, MIsamis Oriental. We are a community-based organization committed to fostering personal growth, leadership development, and community engagement. Our primary objectives are threefold: 1. Personal Development: L.A.Y.O. will provide opportunities for personl growth through workshops, seminars and mentoring programs focusing on skills development (e.g. communication, teamwork, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. We aim to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives. 2. Leadership Development: We believe in nurturing future leadership. L.A.Y.O. will offer leadership training programs, providing young people with the skills and confidence to take on leadership roles within the communities and beyond. This includes opportunities for participation in community projects and initiatives. 3. Community Engagement: L.A.Y.O. is committed to actively engaging with the Lonsi Community. We will organize and participate in community service projects, environmental initiatives, and awareness campaigns addressing local needs and challenges. Our goal is to contribute positively to the well-being and development of our community. L.A.Y.O. will operate as a democratic organization, ensuring that all members have a voice in decision-making process. We will foster a culture of inclusive, respect, and collaboration. Welcoming all young people regardless of background or belief. Our ultimate goal is to create a vibrant and active youth community in Lonsi, contributing to a brighter future for all.
