The Research and Robotics Club of Dimasalang National High School is a student-led organization that aims to promote scientific inquiry, innovation, and technological advancement among learners, particularly those in the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) program. Established on July 29, 2024, the club serves as a platform for students to enhance their skills in investigative research, robotics design, programming, and data analysis. It provides opportunities for hands-on learning through proposal defenses, research fairs, training workshops, and collaborative projects. The club also engages in community outreach, civic activities, and advocacy campaigns to promote the value of STEM education and responsible innovation. The club’s primary objective is to strengthen students’ competencies in both research and robotics through regular training, mentorship, and performance-based activities. It aims to create a venue where learners can present, refine, and defend their research ideas while building confidence in scientific communication and critical thinking. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and leadership, the club encourages its members to pursue excellence and contribute to meaningful innovations that address real-world challenges. In partnership with the Science Club and other school organizations, the club also promotes awareness of the STE and STEM programs through advocacy drives targeting future enrollees. Above all, the Research and Robotics Club seeks to develop responsible young scientists and innovators who are not only academically prepared but also socially aware and committed to applying their knowledge for the betterment of the school, community, and nation.
