Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Ilocos Norte – Vintar Chapter is a dynamic youth organization founded in alignment with the Philippine National Police’s commitment to community development and national security. Established under the directives of Executive Order No. 66, s. 2018 and formally launched through PNP CMC 20-2019, KKDAT aims to build a united front of young advocates against the threats of illegal drugs and terrorism in the grassroots. Rooted in the principles of sustainable development, civic responsibility, and nation-building, KKDAT empowers Filipino youth to become proactive agents of peace, discipline, and change. The organization acknowledges the critical role of the youth in safeguarding communities and instilling awareness on the risks and consequences of drug abuse and violent extremism. Its main objective is to educate, organize, and mobilize young people to reject and resist the influence of illegal drugs and terrorist recruitment. Through a three-phase strategy—Awareness, Organizing, and Mobilization—KKDAT conducts orientations, training, and community outreach to inspire volunteerism, enhance social responsibility, and reinforce the values of patriotism and bayanihan. Furthermore, the organization partners with government agencies and local sectors to implement programs such as seminars, clean-up drives, reintegration activities, and youth development initiatives. As a platform for leadership and advocacy, KKDAT Vintar Chapter fosters unity, moral integrity, and civic engagement among its members—upholding the rule of law and defending the rights and welfare of the Filipino youth.
