The Red Cross Youth in the Philippines is constituted by children, adolescents, and young adults aged 7 to 25 years old. Their role and engagement in the humanitarian works of the Philippine Red Cross provides them an area to realize their potential in humanitarian leadership. It has five major objectives: advocacy of humanitarian values; promotion of community health; service and solidarity; international friendship and education for peace; and dissemination of Red Cross principles. The program began in the Philippines in 1917 and has expanded to include youth in schools, colleges, and communities. It is divided into categories for junior, senior, college, and community members.
