Purok Lunti – Purok 7, Barangay Divisoria, Santiago City Purok Lunti is a youth-led community organization based in Purok 7, Barangay Divisoria, dedicated to cultivating a socially aware, economically resilient, and participative citizenry. Rooted in its identity as an agricultural community surrounded by rice fields, Purok Lunti harnesses the passion and potential of young people to lead initiatives focused on active citizenship, livelihood empowerment, and inclusive development. The organization serves as a platform for empowering the youth and residents to engage in civic activities, express their voices in community affairs, and develop practical skills that support personal growth and economic sustainability. Through volunteerism, collaboration, and training, Purok Lunti builds a culture of responsibility and innovation—strengthening both individual capacity and community resilience. Objectives: • Promote civic responsibility among youth by involving them in local governance, public consultations, and community decision-making. • Enhance economic resilience by providing skills training, financial literacy programs, and livelihood projects such as Gulayan sa Purok and madiSKarte Dishwashing Liquid. • Foster youth leadership through workshops, mentoring, and hands-on community work. • Strengthen local identity and cooperation through cultural, sports, and intergenerational activities. • Purok Lunti is a living example of how grassroots leadership, when guided by values of service and unity, can create lasting impact in even the smallest corners of society.
