The goal of the club is to promote physical health, flexibility, and coordination via systematic martial arts instruction. Teach self-defense methods that increase safety and confidence. Impart the fundamental principles of self confidence, modesty, indomitable spirit, perseverance, an etiquette. Promote mental discipline and focus through frequent practice. To develop character and leadership, particularly in young practitioners. Instill respect for oneself and others, both inside and outside of the training area. Have a better grasp of Korean culture and martial arts traditions. Prepare students for competition, belt testing, or public displays as part of their growth.
