Kiwanis Key Club of KISEC was officially chartered on August 23, 2024, with an initial roster of 19 passionate youth members. As the Kiwanis Year 2025-2026 begins, the club is set to grow, welcoming new members eager to serve and lead. Key Club is an international, student-led organization whose objective is to develop leadership through serving others. It empowers youth to become caring and responsible citizens by providing oppurtunities for service, character-building, and leadership development. In just a few months since its establishment, the club has already implemented meaningful and impactful projects. These include OSAEC(Anti-online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and CSAEM(Anti-Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials ) awareness campaign sessions for students and the youth, various clean up drives, gift giving and community outreach services across various municipalities in Aklan. All these initiatives were done in close collaborations with their sponsoring club, the Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Inc.,through feeding programs, distribution of school supplies and educational activities for children. To strengthen leadership and develop the potential of every member, the club also conducted leadership trainings and workshops, fostering a deeper sense of responsibility and teamwork. Highlighting their creativity and passion, the Key Club proudly won a Merit Award in the Mural Painting Contest during the Kiwanis Asia Pacific Convention held and awarded in Kaohshiung, Taiwan in March 2025. As they continue their journey, the Key Club of KISEC remains committed to serving the youth and children, building a generation of young leaders ready to make a difference in their communities.
