USTP DOST Scholar’s Association (UDSA) is a student organization that is committed to fostering the overall development of DOST scholars enrolled at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines. Guided by the core values of service, leadership, and excellence, UDSA provides an avenue for students to develop their character, intellect, and civic responsibility. This organization also encourages the development of critical thinking, wise decision-making, effective communication, and environmental awareness. As an association centered on service, patriotism, and excellence, UDSA envisions providing a nurturing environment for USTP-DOST scholars to hone their scientific, social, and innovative minds, thereby enhancing their holistic well-being and competitiveness. Among its objectives are building a stronger scholar community for communication and collaboration, and promoting participation in scholarly programs, academic seminars/forums, and volunteer initiatives. With the help of UDSA’s initiatives, UDSA aims and strives to empower and equip scholars to be innovators not just within the university, but also beyond.
