Founded on July 22, 2020, the Association of Leading and Active Youth (ALAY) is the first community-based youth organization in Santa Maria, Isabela, recognized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santa Maria and registered under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission. ALAY envisions becoming a youth organization that fosters pro-social camaraderie among young people and delivers meaningful projects, programs, and activities that contribute to the development and progress of Santa Maria, Isabela. With a deep commitment to serving God and His people, ALAY upholds a two-fold mission: to nurture a holistic environment that hones the youth’s potential; and to initiate impactful projects and programs aligned with key advocacies, namely: Education, Environment, Health, Active Citizenship, and Social Inclusion & Equity. Through these efforts, ALAY continues to be a dynamic force for youth empowerment and community transformation in Santa Maria, Isabela.
