The 4-H Club Laniton Chapter is a dynamic youth organization dedicated to developing well-rounded individuals through hands-on learning, leadership training, and community involvement. As part of the global 4-H movement, our chapter serves the youth of Barangay Laniton and nearby areas, empowering them to become proactive, responsible citizens who are capable of making a positive impact in their communities. The club stands on the core values represented by the four H’s: Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. We strive to develop: Clear thinking and decision-making skills (Head), Loyalty, compassion, and strong moral character (Heart), Service-oriented actions and practical skills (Hands), and Healthy living and personal well-being (Health). Our chapter organizes a variety of programs and activities that promote agricultural literacy, environmental awareness, entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic responsibility. These include but are not limited to community clean-up drives, tree planting, livelihood workshops, agricultural fairs, youth camps, and leadership seminars. Objectives: 1. To develop leadership skills among the youth of Laniton through active participation in planning and implementing community-based projects. 2. To promote agricultural awareness and sustainability, encouraging members to engage in practices that support local food production and environmental care. 3. To instill a spirit of volunteerism and service, fostering a genuine desire to help others and contribute meaningfully to community development. 4. To enhance life skills and self-confidence through experiential learning in areas such as public speaking, teamwork, financial literacy, and project management. 5. To create a supportive and inclusive environment where members can grow, express themselves, and feel empowered to take on leadership roles both within and outside the club. Through these objectives, the 4-H Club Laniton Chapter serves as a vital platform for youth development, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with the knowledge, values, and skills necessary to lead and inspire positive change.
