Education

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of San Jose Norte National High School is the highest governing student organization in the school, duly recognized by the Department of Education. It serves as the voice and representative body of the studentry, promoting their rights, welfare, and active participation in school affairs. Guided by democratic principles, the SSLG fosters leadership, responsibility, and volunteerism among learners while supporting the school’s vision, mission, and core values. Through various programs and initiatives, it provides avenues for student engagement, skills development, and community involvement, ensuring that learners are empowered to contribute positively both within and outside the school campus. Objectives 1. Representation – To serve as the official representative of the student body in voicing concerns, suggestions, and initiatives to the school administration and other stakeholders. 2. Leadership Development – To develop and enhance the leadership skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility of student leaders through meaningful activities and decision-making opportunities. 3. Student Welfare – To advocate for the rights, safety, and well-being of learners while ensuring inclusivity and equal participation in school activities. 4. Civic Engagement – To encourage active involvement in community service, environmental protection, and nation-building projects. 5. Academic and Co-Curricular Support – To initiate and support programs that promote academic excellence, talents, creativity, and sportsmanship among students. 6. Collaboration – To work closely with school officials, teachers, parents, and community partners in implementing projects that benefit the student population. 7. Values Formation – To instill discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of patriotism among the youth in alignment with DepEd’s core values of Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa.
