KaBaTAang Radikal Kaakibat at Duyan ng Adbokasiya (KABARKADA) is a non-profit and non-sectarian youth-led organization. It is officially based at Puerto Galera National High School- Main Campus and supported by Stairway Foundation, Inc. The organization shall have the following objectives: 1. To equip volunteers with the capabilities of a true peer educator. 2. To help disseminate appropriate, accurate, and vital information about Adolescent Health and Development (AHD), Children's & Youth's Rights and Responsibilities, and other child protection-related topics through training and sessions that would enable the students to realize their maximum potential and make positive life choices. 3. To encourage the youth to join advocacy-driven initiatives, especially in matters affecting their life, by providing them with a safe avenue to voice out their thoughts and opinions on topics where they should be consulted and taken into consideration. 4. To evaluate learners' understanding through assessments and reflective activities after sessions about Adolescent Health and Development (AHD), Children's and Youth's Rights and Responsibilities, and other child protection-related topics, aiming to identify knowledge gaps, enhance awareness, and foster effective and innovative interventions.
