The highest governing body for secondary students at Catmon National High School is the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG). It promotes student involvement, leadership, and overall development by acting as the voice of the student body. To address student issues and establish a supportive learning environment, the SSLG collaborates with educators, the school administration, and other stakeholders. The objectives of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Catmon National High School are: 1. Promote Student Participation: Encourage active participation of students in school activities, decision-making processes, and leadership opportunities. 2. Foster Student Welfare: Protect and promote the rights, interests, and well-being of all students. 3. Develop Leadership Skills: Provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and communication abilities. 4. Enhance School Spirit: Promote school pride, unity, and solidarity among students, teachers, and staff. 5. Address Student Concerns: Identify, discuss, and address student concerns, suggestions, and grievances. 6. Support Academic Excellence: Encourage academic excellence, creativity, and innovation among students. 7. Promote Values and Citizenship: Instill values of respect, responsibility, and citizenship among students. 8. Organize Student Activities: Plan, coordinate, and implement student-led events, projects, and initiatives. 9. Collaborate with School Administration: Work closely with the school administration, teachers, and staff to achieve common goals. 10. Uphold School Policies: Support and uphold school policies, rules, and regulations.
