The Society of Unique Minds of Mathematical Aspirants (SUMMA) is the official Mathematics Club of Eastern Bacoor National High School at Queen's Row Central, Bacoor City, Cavite. It composed of learners who share a passion for mathematics, logical thinking and leadership. It serves as a platform for students to explore mathematical ideas beyond the classroom, deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts, and develop essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills. As a dynamic and inclusive organization, SUMMA fosters a supportive environment where members can collaborate, innovate, and grow as confident and competent mathematical thinkers. Through a variety of activities such as math challenges, training sessions, peer tutorials, outreach programs, and inter-school competitions, SUMMA aims to nurture the talents of young mathematical aspirants and instill in them the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. The club is also committed to promoting a positive attitude toward Mathematics and encouraging its appreciation and application in real-life contexts. SUMMA serves as a venue for students to explore the beauty and application of mathematics beyond the classroom. Through various activities such as math contests, enrichment sessions, peer tutorials, math exhibits, and community outreach, members are given opportunities to develop their talents, build confidence, and strengthen their academic and leadership potential. SUMMA also supports students preparing for interschool math competitions by offering regular trainings and mentoring. The organization seeks to achieve the following bjectives: a. Promote the appreciation and understanding of mathematics. b. Organize activities, events, and competitions that develop problem-solving skills and mathematical thinking. c. Offer tutoring and academic support to students struggling with mathematics. d. Encourage leadership, cooperation, and camaraderie among members. e. Conduct outreach programs that demonstrate the practical applications of mathematics in daily life. SUMMA stands as a beacon for young minds who aspire to excel in mathematics and make a meaningful impact in their academic journey and beyond.
