We, the Red Cross Youth (RCY), a school-based organization that works as the youth arm of the Philippine Red Cross. Our main goal is to become better leaders, promote kindness and care for others, and encourage volunteerism among students like us. As members, we join different school and community activities that focus on health, safety, disaster preparedness, and helping those in need. We follow the 7 Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality. Our group aims to help us grow as responsible and caring individuals. We learn how to be leaders, stay healthy, serve others, and be ready to help during emergencies. We also agreed to follow the rules and guidelines of the organization. We attend meetings and events, show respect to everyone, work as a team, and always carry the Red Cross values with pride and discipline. We believe that by working together and helping others, we can make a real difference in our school and community. We also hope to inspire more young people to join us in our mission—to save lives, serve others, and build a kinder, more prepared generation.
