Samahan ng Kabataan para sa Komunidad at Isyung Panlipunan (SKKIP) is a community-based youth organization from Barangay 176, Caloocan City formed on February 25, 2021, through the efforts of the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation, Inc. to organize its youth beneficiaries from Phase 4, Phase 8 A1, Phase 8 A2, Phase 9, and Phase 8 B of the mentioned barangay. True to its name, SKKIP aims to empower the youth through their participation in its various community-based projects and programs that address societal issues that are relevant to the youth. Hence, its advocacies are mainly focused on the right to quality and accessible education, active citizenship, and upholding social inclusion and equality. The organization aims to fulfill its mission with the help of the following objectives: to educate the youth about the issues affecting them from national to local levels; to equip the youth with the necessary skills to be able to participate in community development programs; and to organize and launch achievable and effective projects and programs within the organization that address collective issues and interests of the youth.
