The Union of Laguna University Tourism Associates (ULUTA) Constitution serves as the foundational document for a student-led organization created for the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) students at Laguna University. Its primary aim is to foster unity, camaraderie =, and academic excellence among tourism students while cultivation leadership and professional growth within the field. ULUTA strives to establish connection with industry stakeholders, promote tourism as a viable career path, and create platforms where students can showcase their talents and skills through events and activities. Membership in ULUTA is exclusive to currently enrolled BSTM students who meet the membership requirements, including the payment of a membership fee. The organization is governed by a set of elected officers; President, Vice-President, Secretary, treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Auditor, Communications Head. Marketing Head, and Chair of Social and Community Events. Additional support comes from appointed committee members and a faculty adviser who offers mentorship and institutional oversight. ULUTA envisions itself as a model of excellence, guided by the values of courtesy, discipline, and hard work. its mission emphasizes equipping students with the practical knowledge, ethical standards, and global competencies necessary for success in the hospitality and tourism sectors. the constitution outlines the roles and responsibilities of each officer, rules for conducting meetings, election protocols, financial procedures, and amendment processes. It also addresses guidelines for fundraising, ensuring that such efforts benefit both the organization and its members, and provide measures for filling office vacancies and managing disciplinary concerns. Ultimately, the ULUTA Constitution provides a clear, structured framework for a dynamic and efficient student organization committed to the professional and personal development of future tourism leaders.
