The Physical Education Organization for Wellness and Education Reform (POWER) is a student-led organization composed of aspiring Physical Education teachers dedicated to promoting holistic wellness, lifelong fitness, and innovative teaching practices. POWER serves as a platform for leadership development, academic support, community engagement, and advocacy for health and wellness education. Through various activities, seminars, and outreach programs, the organization aims to empower its members to become competent, compassionate, and future-ready educators who can inspire positive change inside and outside the classroom. The organization seeks to: Promote holistic wellness by engaging members and the community in health-enhancing physical activities, fitness programs, and sports events. Develop competent and innovative educators by providing opportunities for professional growth, skills training, and exposure to best practices in Physical Education. Foster leadership and camaraderie among members through collaborative projects, organizational activities, and peer-to-peer mentoring. Advocate for wellness and education reform by supporting initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national education policies. Strengthen community involvement through outreach programs, partnerships, and wellness campaigns that promote active and healthy lifestyles.
