Active Citizenship

Mayapa Youth Alliance is an inclusive community based youth organization composed of 173 current members to become active citizens and leaders. We believe in the potential of young people to drive positive change and promote community development. Through our programs and activities, we provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills, confidence, and leadership. The objectives of the Mayapa Youth Alliance are: 1. Empower young people - to empower young people in our community to become active citizens and leaders. 2. Promote Community Development - to promote community development and social responsibility among our youth. 3. Develop Skills and Leadership - to provide opportunities for youth and to develop their skills, confidence and leadership abilities. 4. Foster Inclusivity and Diversity - to foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity among youth in Barangay Mayapa. 5. Build Partnerships - To build partnerships with other organizations to support development of our youth in the Barangay.
