The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the highest governing body of student leaders in the secondary level, officially recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd). It serves as the representative body of the entire student population, promoting learner welfare, leadership, and participation in school governance. The SSLG provides students with opportunities to practice democratic processes, enhance leadership skills, and actively contribute to the development of school programs and community initiatives. Objectives Promote Learner Welfare – To protect and uphold the rights, responsibilities, and welfare of all learners in the school. Develop Leadership Skills – To provide opportunities for students to practice leadership, teamwork, and responsibility through various activities and projects. Encourage Active Participation – To foster involvement of learners in school governance, decision-making, and implementation of programs. Support Academic and Co-Curricular Programs – To assist in the planning and execution of school activities that promote academic excellence, talents, and skills development. Strengthen Partnerships – To collaborate with school administration, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in promoting a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment. Promote Civic Engagement – To encourage student involvement in community service, environmental protection, and nation-building initiatives.
