Bayan Sining Ensemble Community Theater Group – Orani, Bataan Bayan Sining Ensemble is a dynamic community theater group based in Orani, Bataan, composed of passionate artists, educators, students, and volunteers dedicated to promoting arts and culture through meaningful and socially relevant performances. Born from a shared vision to make theater accessible and impactful, the ensemble serves as a creative platform where local voices are heard, stories are told, and talents are nurtured. Guided by the belief that the arts play a vital role in shaping values, building identity, and inspiring change, Bayan Sining Ensemble stages original and adapted productions that reflect Filipino life, heritage, and current social issues. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of culture while encouraging dialogue and civic engagement within the community. The group actively collaborates with schools, local government units, and cultural organizations such as Tanghalang Hiraya of Bataan Peninsula State University, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). These partnerships strengthen its advocacy for inclusive and sustainable arts education. Objectives: 1. To promote theater as a tool for community development and cultural enrichment. 2. To discover and develop local talent in acting, directing, playwriting, and stage production. 3. To raise awareness on relevant social issues through creative performances. 4. To provide workshops and training programs that build confidence and artistic skills among youth and community members. 5. To foster collaboration with institutions that support the growth of community-based art initiatives. Through its productions, outreach programs, and arts advocacy, Bayan Sining Ensemble continues to champion the transformative power of theater—bridging generations, empowering citizens, and cultivating a vibrant cultural identity for Orani and beyond.
