The EduAksyon Council was originally formed as the volunteer arm of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Timbao to help implement the programs, projects, and activities of the Committee on Education. Over time, it has transformed from being a task force to becoming an independent youth organization that champions not only inclusive, quality education but also good governance. Since its formation, it has engaged in the hands-on execution of more than twenty (20) education and governance-related initiatives of the Sangguniang Kabataan. One notable project was Project Kalinga—a three-pronged academic review program for high school and college students that ran for 3 consecutive months. It has also made a significant stride as the sole youth organization in Biñan City to reach the finals of the Sibol ng Laguna 2024 through Project Paglaum—a digital literacy program for out-of-school youth. The EduAksyon Council continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for empowering the youth and shaping a community grounded in learning, leadership, and service.
