The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP), San Jose de Buan Chapter, is a community-based youth organization dedicated to empowering the out-of-school youth (OSY) and other young individuals in the municipality. As an accredited partner of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the organization serves as a channel for meaningful participation of the youth in community development, leadership, skills enhancement, and livelihood opportunities. PYAP San Jose de Buan Chapter envisions a proactive, responsible, and resilient youth sector that contributes to the social, cultural, and economic progress of the community. It provides a safe and inclusive space where young people can enhance their talents, build self-confidence, and take part in nation-building activities. Objectives: 1.To promote the holistic development of the youth through educational, social, cultural, and livelihood programs. 2. To empower out-of-school youth by providing opportunities for skills training, employment, and income-generating activities. 3. To strengthen the values of leadership, discipline, and volunteerism among members. 4. To actively participate in community development projects and support local government initiatives for youth welfare. 5. To foster unity, cooperation, and camaraderie among the youth towards building a progressive and peaceful community. 6. To create awareness and advocacy campaigns that address issues affecting the youth, such as health, environment, education, and social responsibility. Through its programs and activities, PYAP San Jose de Buan Chapter remains committed to nurturing the potential of every young individual and ensuring their meaningful role as future leaders and active partners in nation-building.
