The Supportive Outreach for Learning and Counseling in Education (SOLACE) is a student-led organization committed to promoting mental health awareness, emotional well-being, and peer support within the academic community. Through its programs and initiatives, SOLACE aims to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where students can freely express themselves, seek guidance and grow hollistically. It actively engages with learners, promotes mental health literacy, and fosters a culture of empathy and mutual respect among students. The SOLACE Mental Health Support Group is dedicated to creating a safe space by aspiring to cultivate a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment where students can openly discuss their mental health challenges, share personal experiences, and find comfort in a supportive community. It is also dedicated to reducing stigma with the central objective of challenging and dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health issues while promoting a culture where seeking help is viewed as an act of courage and strenght. Furthermore, SOLACE is committed to serving as a comprehensive resource hub for students by providing access to information, self-help tools, and referrals to professional assistance when needed. Lastly, it is dedicated to education and awareness by organizing regular educational workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns that will equip students with essential knowledge about mental health, coping strategies, and sel-care techniques.
