Education

Ang Imbakan is the official school publication of Valencia National High School, founded in June 1994. For many years, it has served as a voice for the students, sharing truthful and meaningful stories about the school and the community. The organization aims to report news and stories honestly, fairly, and with respect. It gives students a chance to express their thoughts, opinions, and talents through writing, photography, and other forms of journalism. Ang Imbakan also helps young writers and campus journalists grow by teaching them the value of honesty, creativity, and responsibility. As a student-led publication, Ang Imbakan plays an important role in keeping the spirit of VNHS alive. Through words and images, it tells the stories of the school’s values, traditions, and dreams. It aims to remind every Valenciano of who they are, what they stand for, and what they can become.
